Portable Appliance Testing, commonly referred to as PAT Testing, is a compulsory safety test that is carried out on all electrical appliances fitted with a mains plug (110v and 240v appliances).
PAT testing must be carried out regularly, under the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 and forms an important part of the Health & Safety policy in any workplace.
